Flood Relief Program

Over 5.2 million people have been affected by the recent floods caused by torrential monsoon rains across Pakistan. One-third of the country was submerged; the enormity of damage to lives, property, crops and livestock is beyond comprehension.

We at The Cecil & Iris Chaudhry Foundation (CICF) launched a Flood Relief Program to make our humble contribution towards helping those who were incessantly being affected by the ravaging flood waters. In collaboration with the Convents of Jesus & Mary Lahore and Sialkot, along with the support of our families, friends and well-wishers from Pakistan and around the world we were able to reach out to some of the unfortunate families. We set up a collection center at our office where goods could be dropped off. The response has been phenomenal. Food items, water, clothing, medicines etc were very generously donated.   Our team of volunteers sorted out the items and got family packs ready for distribution.

Taking into account the magnitude of the catastrophe, our efforts are not enough. We require additional support at this extremely critical juncture; we however continue to appeal for assistance towards our emergency relief efforts in order to help our brothers and sisters in these extremely trying times.
